Whitefish Area Chain of Lakes reached out to Swim Creative to create shoulder season campaigns to draw folks to their neck of the woods during Minnesota’s not-so-nice seasons. There was just one problem. In an oversaturated market with endless places to visit - how could WALA stand out among it’s competitors? The answer was a nostalgia-drenched campaign encouraging folks to visit the ‘hearty heart of Minnesota’. Thus, the Heartyland concept was born. A vaudeville-themed campaign with endless hearty activities. If waterskiing behind a snowmobile is your kind of thing, look no further than Whitefish.
